Somatic & Embodiment Coaching
Hi, my name is Johanna, and Ananda means bliss in Sanskrit. I call myself Johananda because I am convinced that bliss is our natural birthright. No matter what challenges you faced on your path, you can learn to return to that state by raising your consciousness, healing your body, rewiring your beliefs, and remembering your wholeness. If you tried understanding your patterns and talking about them or reading about them, then now it is time to feel your way through them.
The Work
I spent over a decade in the corporate world, managing teams and navigating high-pressure environments for renowned fashion brands. I know what it means to perform, to achieve, to hold it all together from the outside. And I know the cost — the disconnect from your body, the walls around your heart, the quiet grief of relationships that keep breaking you open in all the wrong ways.
My own journey through deeply challenging relationship experiences, burnout, and years of living in survival mode led me to the work that changed everything: yoga, tantra, and somatic healing. Not as theory, but as lived practice.
Today I bring both worlds together. The grounded, strategic mind of someone who has operated in corporate leadership — and the deep, embodied wisdom of a practitioner who has done this work in her own body, her own relationships, her own nervous system.
This means when you work with me, you get both identity-level depth of transformation and real-world results. We don't just explore your patterns — we shift them. We don't just talk about boundaries — you learn to embody them. The change you experience isn't just insight. It's felt. It's lived. It shows up in your relationships, your body, your career, your sense of self.
I work with women healing from challenging relationship experiences who are ready to reclaim their body, their voice, and their trust. And I work with men who are done performing strength and ready to embody authentic, grounded presence.
Training & Approach
Trained in the lineage of classical and neo-tantric philosophy, somatic practices, breath, sound and movement, and sacred sexuality. My tantra training is the foundation of how I work with the body as a gateway to transformation — integrating shadow, pleasure, and power.
Trained in advanced psychodynamic coaching with Joelle van Harten (EMCC-accredited, Post-Bachelor in Psychodynamic Therapy from Academy of Psychodynamics). This gives my work the clinical depth to access childhood wounds, attachment patterns, and unconscious dynamics.
Years of dedicated yoga practice and teaching form the bedrock of my body-based approach. Yoga was my first lifeline — the practice that led me from burnout and emotional shutdown back to presence, breath, and connection with my own body.
Over a decade in managerial roles for international fashion brands. I understand the pressures of high-performance environments and the cost of living in your head. I bring strategic clarity and real-world grounding to deep inner work.
My Approach
Most personal development stays in the head. You understand the pattern, but you can't shift it. That's because trauma, conditioning, and old relationship patterns don't live in your thoughts — they live in your nervous system. This work goes where the pattern actually lives.
Learn to listen to your body again. Track the sensations, tensions, and impulses that drive your unconscious patterns — the ones no amount of journaling can reach. You'll learn practical express-and-release tools to safely move and discharge stuck energy from the body — grief, anger, fear, numbness — so it no longer runs you from the background. When you can feel what's happening in your nervous system and know how to work with it, real change becomes possible.
We work with your inner dialogue — the inner child, the inner masculine and feminine, the shadow, the protector. Through guided somatic dialogue, we access the parts of you that have been running the show from the background and give them what they actually need.
The relationship patterns you're living today were written in childhood. Through inner child work, reparenting practices, and belief rewiring, we go to the root — not just the symptom. This is where lasting change happens.
Once the healing work is done and real awareness is achieved, the work shifts — from releasing the old to anchoring the new. This is where we train your nervous system to align with your new reality. Through breath, sound, movement, and embodied practice, we move into manifestation, desire clarification, goal setting, and subconscious reprogramming. You don't just know differently — you are different. Your body becomes the proof, and your life starts to reflect it.
The Difference
You've probably done some version of the work before. Therapy. Self-help books. Journaling. Maybe even meditation or yoga. And some of it helped — you understand your patterns now. You can name your attachment style. You know what happened and why.
But the pattern is still running.
That's because understanding is not the same as integration. The flinch when someone raises their voice. The collapse when you feel criticized. The wall that goes up the moment someone gets close. The inability to feel desire, anger, or genuine joy. These aren't thinking problems. This is your body protecting you from what was once perceived as danger.
My work combines the depth of psychodynamic coaching with the wisdom of tantra and the precision of somatic practice. We don't just talk about what happened — we work with how it lives in your body right now. And we shift it. Not through more analysis, but through breath, sound, movement, and the courage to feel what you've been avoiding.
This is grounded spirituality. Evidence-informed. Practically applicable. No bypassing, no empty affirmations. Just honest, embodied work that changes how you show up in every relationship — starting with the one you have with yourself.
